DESCRIPTION:

  • The module consists of an IR LED emitter and an IR photodiode/phototransistor receiver.
  • It detects obstacles by measuring the reflected infrared light from nearby objects.
  • Integrated LM393 comparator provides stable, noise-filtered digital output.
  • The onboard potentiometer allows sensitivity adjustment, enabling tuning based on object reflectivity and lighting conditions.
  • The module provides Active LOW digital output, meaning the output goes LOW when an obstacle is detected.
  • LED indicators allow easy debugging—Power LED (always ON) and Output LED (turns ON on detection).
